Job . Pay is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care as per physician instructions. RNs must be skilled in fast‑paced, urgent and emergency environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform minor medical operations and provide patient and family education on illnesses or injuries.
- Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being.
- Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds.
- Administer IV therapy.
- Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
- Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
Physical requirements:
Stand, walk and bend for long periods; lift up to 20 lbs comfortably and may need to lift patients up to 50 lbs. Must cope with high stress and interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
- BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, minimum 2 years acute care experience.
