Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a cardiac telemetry and progressive care unit, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred but not required

• 41-bed inpatient Cardiac Telemetry/Progressive/Respiratory Care unit located on the fourth floor of a hospital
• Patient population includes medical and surgical patients with cardiac dysrhythmia, respiratory illness, and/or significantly altered hemodynamics requiring cardiac monitoring
• 13-week contract, 36 hours per week
• Day shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), 3 days per week
• Holiday and weekend coverage required
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, treatment implementation, patient and family education, discharge coordination, and quality improvement participation
