Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN with neuro experience for a 13-week day shift contract in Paducah, KY.

• Active, unrestricted RN license in Kentucky or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred
• Previous nursing experience preferred, particularly in a circulator or neuro OR role
• Candidate must provide MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration

• Surgical Services department within a hospital setting
• Role is specifically for a Circulator RN focused on neuro cases
• Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
• 13-week contract
• Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, patient and family education, and coordination of admission, transfer, and discharge activities
• Circulator duties include implementing patient care therapies and procedures within scope of practice, delegating tasks, and monitoring team performance
• Actively participates in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, fall prevention, pressure ulcer prevention, and CAUTI monitoring
• Nursing practice is evidence-based, incorporating all four phases of the nursing process with critical thinking and clinical autonomy
