Registered Nurse Emergency Room -2nd Shift

Job Summary

Full‑time RN position (36‑hour week, 12‑hour second‑shift) at Baptist Health. The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient‑team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards and a positive customer‑service environment.

• Assessment and identification of patient needs.
• Implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service.
• Delegation of nursing care activities and provision of supervision; establishes and maintains a plan for the delivery of nursing care.
• Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems.
• Performs technical aspects of care competently.

• Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
