Registered Nurse Emergency Room 1ST SHIFT

Full‑time RN – 36 hours weekly, 12‑hour shifts starting at 7:00 AM. The RN prescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients; participates in patient and family teaching; and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient‑team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. The RN creates a positive customer‑service environment.

Assessment and identification of patient needs; implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service; delegation of nursing care activities and supervision; establishment and maintenance of a plan for the delivery of nursing care; assurance that nursing care interventions and activities resolve problems; and performance of technical aspects of care competently.

Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.
