Front End Checkout associates run our registers. They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. The role may require standing for long periods of time and responding promptly to customer questions.

You play a major role in shaping how customers feel when they leave the store. You are often the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with; therefore it is essential to smile, greet, and thank every customer.

The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends and holiday seasons. You must handle multiple tasks in short order while helping customers: scan items, explain prices, bag items properly, count cash back and keep the area clean.

• Be available to assist associates across the store as needed

• Ensure customers have a great first and last impression
• Gather carts from the parking lot
• Operate equipment to move carts from the parking lot to inside the store
• Clean restrooms, sales floor and parking lot as needed
• Maintain a positive attitude in all weather conditions

Competitive pay and annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
