Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to grow and manage a defined territory within the electro‑mechanical industry. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing customer relationships, and providing technical sales solutions to industrial customers.

The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, comfortable in the field, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a sales territory, including OEMs, end users, and industrial accounts

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and networking

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers

  • Present and sell electro‑mechanical products and solutions based on customer needs

  • Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction

  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and sales forecasts

  • Stay current on product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activity

  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial, electro‑mechanical, or technical sales

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills

  • Ability to understand and explain technical products and applications

  • Self‑starter with excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within assigned territory

Preferred Experience

  • Background in motors, drives, controls, automation, or related electro‑mechanical products

  • Experience selling to manufacturing, OEM, or industrial markets
