About the Apprentice Body & Frame Technician Position:

The Body Shop at Interstate Ford has a rare opportunity for a Body Technician Apprentice. You will assist an experienced mentor in his or her daily job functions and learn all the facets of body and frame repair. Our well-established body shop is looking for a dependable individual looking to start or expand their career in this trade.

• Do you have a natural ability to deal with objects?

You will work alongside an assigned Body Shop Technician and learn to perform quality vehicle service repairs, while doing so you will be receiving hands‑on training, development, and coaching. Assists assigned technician as needed while learning along the way. Learn up‑to‑date collision repair techniques with the latest technology. Learn Repair planning and safety practices. Perform other related duties as assigned by your mentor

WE REQUIRE:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Satisfactory employment references

Preference may be given to individuals with:

• Trade School or Current Experience in a body shop
• I-CAR and ASE Certification
• Rewarding Pay Plans for Both Experienced and Entry level positions.
