Job Overview
Pearce is seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician to service and repair commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites in the Paducah, Kentucky area. The role requires a fast‑paced, self‑directed individual who is motivated, willing to travel, and eager to learn and grow in the telecom industry.
Responsibilities- Maintain cooling systems – diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components of entire systems.
- Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on HVAC equipment.
- Perform additional maintenance or upgrades to out‑of‑season HVAC equipment.
- Respond to service calls promptly, including emergency call‑outs.
- Complete daily work reports accurately and on time.
- Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally per company requirements.
- Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification (required).
- 3+ years of HVAC maintenance experience, commercial preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Must reside in the Paducah, Kentucky area.
- Availability for after‑hours and weekend call‑outs as needed.
- Extensive daily travel within an independent work structure.
- Occasional overnight stays; company pays travel costs and provides per diem.
- Driving to remote work sites as required.
- Exposure to ambient temperatures while working outdoors.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a Department of Transportation physical.
Hourly rate: $24.00–$38.00 (DOE)
