Field Refurbishment Crew

Job Title: FIELD EQUIPMENT REFURBISHMENT TECHNICIAN

This is a full‑time position that involves traveling with a two‑man crew to perform on‑site kiosk repair, refurbishment, and routine preventive maintenance of Dippin’ Dots freezers at national accounts across the U.S.

• Cleaning
• Painting
• Removal and application of vinyl graphics
• Minor plumbing and electrical repair
• Minor repairs involving basic carpentry

• Ability to travel extensively, primarily driving with occasional air travel required.
• Technical aptitude and proficiency with basic hand power tools (drill, buffer, circular saw, trim router, jig‑saw).
• Ability to work well with others.
• Experience removing and reapplying vinyl to Dippin’ Dots equipment.

• Cleaning of compressor compartment, condenser fan, and coils.
• Replacement of basic components: lids and parts (handle, hinge, lock), electrical components (condenser fan, power cord, controller), casters, and compressor grill.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred experience in basic carpentry, basic plumbing, and basic electrical work. On‑the‑job training will be provided.

• Extensive travel primarily by driving; occasional air travel required.
• Overtime required as needed.

Requires ascending/descending ladders, scaffolding, and confined spaces; moving objects up to 20 lbs; standing or sitting for prolonged periods; operating machinery and motor vehicles. Work environments include low and high temperatures, outdoor elements, and occasional hazardous conditions.

$18.50 – $19.25 USD
