SHOE SHOW, INC., the country's largest privately held footwear retailer in business for 65 years with nearly 1,000 stores in 47 states, is seeking an experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join our team. This position is avaible at the Distribution Center located in Concord, NC. Local candidates are encouraged to apply!
What You Should KnowThis position is available at our Distribution Center - located at 2201 Trinity Church Rd. in Concord, NC. Local candidates are encouraged to apply! This individual will be part of a team that participates in all warehouse operations and activities and should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Cherry Picker operators will be detail-oriented and able to handle ever changing multiple priorities throughout the day.
We will train and certify the individual to perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
This individual may operate a Cherry Picker, Stand‑Up Forklift, and/or Reach Lift and will move cases and/or pallets of inventory throughout the Distribution Center as needed. They will operate machinery safely and efficiently while sorting cases from conveyor and moving merchandise of various weights. Ensure accuracy of inventory by following item code when unloading/loading. Perform all physical demands of the position including frequent bending, stooping, reaching, continuous walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications- Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent work ethic, reliable, and punctual.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Proficiency with inventory software.
- Ability to communicate with others and report problems to correct personnel.
- Ability to be able to perform basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- High school diploma or GED.
