Job Brief
We are hiring private music instructors, primarily for voice, in the Painesville, OH area.
Location & PayLocation:
Painesville, OH (travel to local students preferred). Pay: $20–$30 per hour as an independent contractor, commensurate with experience, travel time, and student retention.
- Conduct voice lessons in students’ homes, your own home or studio, or via webcam.
- Create and deliver personalized curriculum and lesson plans.
- Schedule lessons independently and maintain punctuality.
- Communicate with the office for scheduling, billing, and student retention.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines (mask, hand sanitization, social distancing) when meeting students in person.
- Either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience (formal music training not mandatory).
- Strong communication skills, punctuality, and organizational ability.
- Experience teaching or working with students, particularly children.
