Quality Engineer

CNC machine shop seeking a Quality Engineer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Assist in the development and maintenance of the quality management system and verify system compliance with customer and regulatory agency requirements.
• Assist in maintaining corrective action and continual improvement systems.
• Work with Engineering to develop control plans, implement SPC, collect and analyze data.
• Analyze customer rejects, complete effective root cause analysis and manage related action items and provide improvement input for quality system changes.
• Assist with and/or conduct internal and external audit activities.
• Initiate required quality training and maintain training documentation.
• Monitor timeliness for all quality functions.
• Complete First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) per customer requirements including AS9102.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred but not required.
• In depth knowledge of ISO and AS9100, AS9102 quality systems.
• Fluent in GD&T and application of ASME Y14.5M.
• Ability to read and interpret product prints and military specifications.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Excel and Word experience.
