CNC machine shop seeking a Quality Engineer to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development and maintenance of the quality management system and verify system compliance with customer and regulatory agency requirements.
- Assist in maintaining corrective action and continual improvement systems.
- Work with Engineering to develop control plans, implement SPC, collect and analyze data.
- Analyze customer rejects, complete effective root cause analysis, manage related action items and provide improvement input for quality system changes.
- Assist with and/or conduct internal and external audit activities.
- Initiate required quality training and maintain training documentation.
- Monitor timeliness for all quality functions.
- Complete First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) per customer requirements including AS9102.
