Personal Banker

Position Overview

We are looking for a Personal Banker to join our Retail Branch organization, based in Painesville, OH. As a member of the team, you will acquire and deepen the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities, manage the customer experience, collaborate with ecosystem partners, and drive new revenue while fostering customer loyalty.

• Acquire and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manage the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer's financial wellbeing, collaborate with ecosystem partners, and position PNC solutions to drive new revenue and customer loyalty.
• Drive proactive sales conversations through internal and outbound interactions with a defined sales process including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting and effective lobby engagement, ultimately elevating client loyalty. Deliver a full PNC conversation with every client interaction to identify appropriate PNC solutions and leverage ecosystem partnerships as well as community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand and retain relationships.
• Create customer loyalty and grow customer share of wallet through a differentiated customer experience. Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs, and educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools and resources.
• Apply product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate and solve customer problems effectively to drive customer loyalty.
• Manage risk through adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits, participating in branch daily operations to ensure they are completed efficiently and accurately.

Roles at this level typically require an associate’s or equivalent degree as well as related experience or product knowledge to accomplish primary duties. Typically requires 3+ years of experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.

Generally, this opening is expected to be posted for two business days from 06/29/2026, although it may be longer with business discretion.
