Utility Worker/General Labor
DAF Operator - on the job training
IMMEDIATE NEED
Painesville, OH (east end)
6:00 AM - 6:00 PM | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off
$18 per hour
Job Overview:
We're looking for a reliable DAF Operator to join our team! In this role, you'll help treat and manage plant-wide wastewater systems while ensuring we meet all food safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) wastewater systems
- Track and adjust temperature, pressure, and flow levels
- Regulate regional sewer discharge
- Follow all feed and food safety protocols
- Perform general labor as needed to support operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 4-on / 4-off schedule
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Willingness to perform physical labor
- Previous experience in wastewater operations or industrial environment is a plus
- Competitive hourly pay with potential overtime
- Stable schedule with built-in time off
