Tool Die Maker

The Tool & Die Maker will work 40 hours a week full-time with OT available. They are responsible for making and repairing molds for plastic injection products. This role involves layout, machining, fitting, assembly, and finishing of metal parts to build and maintain molds.

• Study blueprints to compute specifications for dies and molds.
• Plan sequence of operations, visualizing the mold’s reverse shape.
• Measure, mark, and scribe metal stock for machining.
• Grind parts for assembly and smooth cavity finishes.
• Assemble and verify die or mold dimensions.
• Perform mold repairs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, and technical documents.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to follow written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience in tool & die work.
