Chemical Operator
We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Operator to execute written batch processes and receipts using both fixed and mobile manufacturing processing equipment. The role involves supporting small lot production, first-time scale-ups, and large commercial scale batches. You will be responsible for setting up and tearing down kilns and mixers, performing sanitation tasks, and documenting production activities. Basic math skills are required when working off batch tickets.
Schedule example: (12 hour shifts)
- Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday
-Next week Weds/Thurs
7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM
Responsibilities:
- Execute batch processes and receipts using manufacturing processing equipment.
- Support small lot production, first-time scale-ups, and large commercial scale batches.
- Set up and tear down kilns and mixers.
- Perform sanitation of kilns and mixers.
- Document production activities.
- Perform basic math calculations for batch tickets.
Essential
Skills:
- 2+ years of previous batch mixing/chemical operator experience.
- 2+ years of experience working off batch tickets, compounding, and chemical mixing.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs and walking up and down stairs.
- Comfortable wearing a respirator and full Tyvek suits.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly and disassembly of machinery and equipment.
Work Environment:
Work in a clean, state-of-the-art chemical manufacturing facility. It is a GMP environment ensuring cleanliness and efficiency. The role involves 12-hour shifts with examples of schedules being Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday one week, and Wednesday/Thursday the next, either 7AM-7PM or 7PM-7AM with a shift differential.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
