Swiss CNC Machinist

We manufacture Aerospace, Defense, and Oil & Gas parts. We require quality and accuracy.

• Set up and operate CNC Swiss Lathe machines to produce precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T to understand machining requirements and tolerances.
• Read and follow job travelers, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Select tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds appropriate for each job.
• Perform offsets, tool changes, and program edits as needed to maintain quality.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure consistent production.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
• Troubleshoot machining issues including tool wear, dimensional variation, and program errors.
• Deburr and finish parts to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance, and keep a clean work area.
• Document production results and ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to improve processes and efficiency.
