Production Laborer; Bonding

Responsibilities

• The primary function of the bonding laborer is to utilize technical knowledge to provide quality bonding service that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• The bonding technician will also engage in routine housekeeping and maintenance of the bonding production facility.
• Work in accordance with all safety and production policies and work instructions.
• Accurately measure, prepare and scale‑up batches of product per Production Card instructions.
• Load and clean the bonder and associated equipment.
• Able to recognize product differences during production and adjust the process accordingly.
• Possess knowledge of the effect of additives and process parameters on product quality.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years’ work experience in a laboratory or batch manufacturing facility.
• Customer focus.
• Basic mathematics skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Ability to operate tow–motors, lift trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Experience in bonding operation or powder coating application (preferred).
• Demonstrated color–matching skills and must pass a color vision test (preferred).
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office and an MRP system; SAP preferred.
• Physical requirements:
  
  squat, crouch, step up 16 inches, climb three flights of stairs, lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist, pull 125 pounds, pull 125 pounds horizontally, push 95 pounds horizontally, unilateral push of 30 pounds, unilateral push of 95 pounds, unilateral pull of 30 pounds, and unilateral pull of 95 pounds.
