Location:
Painesville, OH Pay rate: $25-27 per hour
- Associate degree in Chemistry or at least 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing laboratory.
- Proficiency with analytical techniques such as physical property testing, wet chemistry, or advanced instrumental methods (GC, LC, ICP, NMR).
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, laboratory data systems, SAP, and LIMS.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a focus on producing high-quality, reliable data.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make independent decisions swiftly.
- Capability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
- Professional interaction with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
- Experience with LIMS and SAP QM modules.
- Knowledge of ISO
9001/14001 standards and internal auditing. - Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and Statistical Quality Control methodologies.
- Familiarity with proper lab notebook documentation and troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience working in environments requiring strict safety and quality standards.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline.
- Demonstrated industrial chemical manufacturing laboratory experience.
- Advanced instrument handling with techniques like GC, LC, ICP, and NMR.
- Experience with ISO standard environments and internal audits.
- Ability to work in a dynamic lab and manufacturing environment with proper PPE.
- Willingness to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
- Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and laboratory integrity.
- Flexibility to occasionally lift or move materials as needed.
