Analytical Chemist Job Description
As an Analytical Chemist, you will be responsible for migrations, extractables and leachables, impurity isolation, and identification and structural characterization studies. This role requires proficiency in LC-MS/MS and GC-MS within a GMP analytical laboratory involved with FDA testing. You will work with both pharmaceuticals and food packaging, and sample preparation skills are essential. Reviewing data for technical content and ensuring regulatory compliance will be key responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Conduct migrations, extractables and leachables studies.
- Isolate and identify impurities and perform structural characterization.
- Utilize LC-MS/MS and GC-MS techniques proficiently.
- Work in a GMP analytical laboratory focused on FDA testing.
- Prepare samples for analysis with precision and accuracy.
- Collaborate on projects involving pharmaceuticals and food packaging.
- Review and verify data for technical content and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in LC-MS/MS and GC-MS.
- Strong sample preparation skills.
- Experience in FDA compliance and GMP laboratory environments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytical lab or equivalent.
- Experience with HPLC, GC, HPLC MS/MS, semi-prep chromatography, lyophilization.
- Knowledge of isolation and identification of impurities.
- Experience with migrations, extractables, and leachables.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65,000.00 - $85,000.00/yr.
