Millwright

Turner Industries Group is seeking an experienced Millwright for a position in Painesville, OH.

Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines; moves machinery and equipment; assembles and installs equipment, such as shafting, conveyors, pumps, compressors, extruders, turbines and blowers; aligns machines and equipment using reverse alignment method; assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures; may operate engine lathe to grind, file and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications;

may repair and lubricate machines and equipment; may be involved in the grouting activity for equipment base plates; remove plant equipment, disassemble, repair and reinstall; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

• High school or equivalent
• Four (4) years of experience in specified skill
• NCCER certification, preferred
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Salary: $45 - $50 per hour.

Employee may be required to do the following: climb ladders, scaffolds, structures; maintain balance on ladders, scaffolds; reach in all directions; handle and manipulate objects and materials; coordinate eye, hand, finger movements to operate tools and equipment; lift 30 to 50 pounds from ground or waist level or overhead; carry objects, tools, equipment; stand, sit, walk, push, pull, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, crawl;

see and hear (with or without correction).
