Position Overview
Our Early Childhood Services (ECS) Center is looking for an EHS/HS Enrollment Specialist. The EHS/HS Enrollment Specialist offers support services to low‑income and at‑risk pregnant women and families with infants and toddlers within the Early Childhood Services facility, community settings, and in clients’ homes. This position is responsible for individual services and oversight of the eligibility, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and attendance (ERSEA) services for the Head Start and Early Head Start programming in compliance with the Head Start Program Performance Standards.
The unlicensed provider will engage as a member of a collaborative team and, with a trauma‑informed approach, represent the organization in delivering integrated services for recovery and mental health.
- Providing accurate, concise, and concurrent documentation according to program procedures and policies.
- Providing consultation and collaboration with community partners. Promoting Crossroads Health services and engaging in outreach activities.
- Providing trauma‑informed, relationship‑based enrollment services to clients and their family system in home, community, office, and virtual settings.
- Engaging in outreach activities as necessary.
- Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or Business required;
Bachelor’s or Master’s level preferred. - Five years or more experience working with at‑risk children or families.
- Prior experience with intake/eligibility determination and Head Start preferred.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not required.
- Able to participate two evenings a week if needed.
- Must have an acceptable driving record (four points or less), reliable transportation, and carry automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000.
