Founded in 1978, Clark Contracts is a privately owned main contractor with several operating divisions;
Construction, Fit Out, Refurbishment, Housing, and Maintenance. We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.

Our Refurbishment division are seeking to recruit an experienced Decorating Supervisor to work on a wide range of commercial, industrial, and public sector projects across the East and West of Scotland. The successful candidate will ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the high standards expected by Clark Contracts.

Role & Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with experience supervising teams.

  • You will be responsible for coordinating labour, materials, and programme delivery to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
  • You will see the importance of providing excellent customer care and service along with a positive approach to engaging with our customers.
  • A high level of health and safety awareness in the workplace is essential for this role.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills are required, with the ability to manage operatives and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
  • A full UK Driving License is required for this role.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will have a strong painting and decorating background with previous supervisory experience essential.

  • Experience supervising other trades.
  • Ability to organise workloads, coordinate materials, and ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Excellent customer care and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with sub-contractors.
  • A high level of health and safety awareness in the workplace is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • A full UK Driving License is required for this role.
  • A company van will be provided.

This is a full-time, permanent position.
