Renfrewshire Councils, Building Services is looking to recruit 4 Electricians, all trade persons who have served a full trade apprenticeship to SVQ level 3 and have experience working across all types of property including domestic, office and commercial. You will have a good level of secondary education and experience in supporting a variety of work repairs and tasks.

• Work within a building operations/maintenance environment.
• Support a variety of repair and maintenance tasks across domestic, office and commercial properties.
• Work on your own initiative with effective communication.
• Be flexible, including out-of-hours work and participation in the out-of-hours emergency stand-by service.
• Test electrical installations and be competent in IT skills and in writing detailed reports.

• 18th edition IEE wiring regs.
• Competency in testing electrical installations.
• IT skills and experience writing detailed reports.
• Full current driving licence.
• Experience working in a public sector environment (desirable).
• A flexible work pattern and willingness to undertake associated works across other trade skills by multi-skilling.
• A Disclosure Scotland check will be required if successful; level of check determined by duties.
