Harper College's Paths to College and Career Program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Student Support Assistant to join our team at the Prospect Heights Learning and Career Center. This grant-funded role involves supporting program participants in assessing and improving their basic skills in math, reading, writing, and computer literacy.
LocationHarper College Learning and Career Center, Prospect Heights.
ScheduleSix hours per week with the possibility to increase based on need; the current schedule will consist of two three-hour shifts per week. Extra hours for projects may be available on occasion.
Pay Rate$25/hour. This position is grant funded through March 31, 2026. Continuation of the position is subject to grant approvals/funds.
ProgramPaths to College and Career Program, funded by the Illinois Community College Board Innovative Bridge Transitions Grant (IBT).
ResponsibilitiesSupport program participants in assessing and improving their basic skills in math, reading, writing, and computer literacy.
