We are looking for a Service Technology & Data Manager who wants to own the technical execution layer of HOH's service technology and data ecosystem. This role combines hands-on software and systems engineering, platform ownership, vendor management, and field enablement to turn the ideas of our Product Managers and Technical Solutions Manager into working, adopted technology.

This is a technical, individual-contributor role on our Technical Services team, reporting to the Product & Technical Operations Manager. This seat owns the platform of record used for field testing and customer-facing service reporting, and builds the digital and data infrastructure that turns ideas from Product Managers and the Technical Solutions Manager into working reality — whether that's a new reporting standard, a connected view across water analysis, financial, and remote IoT (Internet of Things) data, or an early-warning signal worth catching before it becomes a customer problem.

Product Managers and the Technical Solutions Manager bring the water treatment domain expertise to say what should be built and why it matters to the customer; this seat brings the software, data, and systems engineering capability to determine what's feasible and make it real — architecting the solution, building or integrating it, and keeping the resulting technology adopted and delivering value in the field.

This is the seat that keeps HOH's technology and data ambitions from stalling at “good idea” — it is where strategy becomes shipped, working product.

• Own the platform of record for field testing and customer-facing service reporting, keeping it reliable, current, and fit for how HOH delivers service.
• Partner with Product Managers to develop and maintain the standard for how service reports are structured, then hold the organization accountable to it.
• Lead platform-to-platform transitions end-to-end, including customer data migration, historical reporting continuity, and testing.
• Bring together field controller, water analysis, financial, and IoT data into one coherent, connected view.
• Assess technical feasibility for AI-enabled data strategy — such as predictive service signals and automated insights — and own the build and integration work.
• Develop and drive adoption plans for the service platform and related tools, serving as the field's go‑to technical resource.
• Maintain hands‑on command of HOH's digital and data architecture, doing light programming and integration work personally.
• Select the right outside vendor or developer for a given job and manage that engagement from scope through delivery.
• Ability to report to our Palatine, Illinois office as needed.
