This is a full‑time or possibly part‑time hybrid role for a Tax Reviewer, based in Palatka, Florida. The Tax Reviewer will oversee and review tax returns for accuracy and compliance with current tax laws, ensure timely submission, and provide advisory support to improve tax strategies for clients. The position requires coordinating and mentoring team members, communicating effectively with clients, and staying up‑to‑date with tax regulations to provide accurate and strategic insights.
The role combines work‑from‑home flexibility with on‑site responsibilities in Palatka, Florida.
- Mastery in tax return preparation and proficiency in review processes.
- Ability to provide advisory services for diverse client needs.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines. Critical thinkers.
- Effective communication and leadership skills for coordinating with clients and mentoring team members. Responsive.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and general accounting tools. CCH desired.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in FLA preferred.
- Prior experience in public accounting is required.
