Student Employment - FloArts Tutoring; PAC)

Tutoring Position

This position is available exclusively to currently enrolled SJR State students and pays $15 per hour.

This position requires a FAFSA on file and is available only to current SJR State students who are eligible for student employment during the current semester. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must successfully pass employment verification, reference screening, and a background check. This position is not eligible for Veteran's Preference.

• Provide high-quality tutoring to students in discipline-specific areas of study.
• Support students in the Acting, Dance, Visual Arts, or Musical Theater programs.
• Promote awareness and use of available tutoring services.
• Provide academic support in a welcoming, supportive, and scholarly environment.
• Assist faculty and departments with maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Current SJR State student eligible for student employment.
• FAFSA must be on file.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and academic skills.
• Ability to provide effective support within the applicable discipline.
• Must successfully pass employment verification, reference screening, and a background check.
