Student Employment - Notetaker

Notetaker Position

This position is available exclusively to currently enrolled SJR State students and pays $15 per hour.

This position requires a FAFSA on file and is available only to current SJR State students who are eligible for student employment during the Fall 2026 term. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Applicants must successfully pass employment verification, reference screening, and a background check. We are currently hiring note takers at all three campuses:
Palatka, St. Augustine, and Orange Park.

• Attend assigned classes and take accurate and comprehensive notes.
• Summarize information from class lectures, discussions, test reviews, and other course activities.
• Ensure handwritten notes are clear and legible.
• Provide completed class notes to the Advising Department on campus.
• Complete assigned note-taking responsibilities in a timely and reliable manner.

• Current SJR State student eligible for student employment.
• FAFSA must be on file.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must successfully complete employment/reference verification and a background check.

This position is not eligible for benefits.
