Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic High School Science Teacher specializing in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics to inspire and educate the next generation of health and medical professionals. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to design engaging lessons, foster curiosity, and develop students' scientific skills across multiple disciplines. Your role will be pivotal in shaping students' understanding of the natural world while integrating innovative educational technology and curriculum strategies.

Duties and Skills

Develop and implement comprehensive science curricula aligned with educational standards, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Design interactive lessons that incorporate laboratory experiments and research projects to enhance experiential learning. Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive environment conducive to inquiry and collaboration. Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional strategies, and school-wide initiatives to ensure consistency and excellence in science education.

Excellent communication skills for effective instruction, student engagement, parent interactions, and teacher collaboration. Familiarity with educational compliance regulations and standardized testing requirements for high school science programs.

  • Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 4.0 - 20.0 per week
