Palatka Housing Authority is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Housing Manager to lead and oversee our housing programs in Palatka, FL. Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day operations of public housing programs and residential communities
- Manage tenant relations, including lease enforcement, occupancy, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with HUD regulations, federal housing policies, and local ordinances
- Supervise and mentor housing staff
- Coordinate property inspections, maintenance requests, and unit turnovers
- Develop and implement policies to improve housing operations and resident services
- Manage budgets, reports, and documentation for housing programs
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, Social Services, or related field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in public housing, property management, or a related field
- Knowledge of HUD regulations, Section 8, and affordable housing compliance
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in housing management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Public Housing Manager (PHM) certification or willingness to obtain preferred
