We pay double time for any hours over 50 hours in a week
Veritas Steel, a leader in steel fabrication for bridge and heavy infrastructure projects, is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Palatka. This position operates a 3-axis plasma cutting table, supporting high-quality production in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Set up, program, and operate a CNC plasma cutting table.
* Interpret fabrication drawings and cut lists accurately.
* Monitor machine performance and quality of finished parts.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
* Collaborate with production leads to meet daily targets and maintain safety standards.
Qualifications
* 1 year of previous experience operating CNC machines, preferably plasma tables.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Basic understanding of steel fabrication practices and tolerances.
* Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
* Commitment to a safe, efficient, and team-oriented workplace.
