Hospital Dialysis Registered Nurse

Dialysis Registered Nurse – Putnam Community Medical Center (Palatka, FL)

• Deliver care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in a hospital setting.
• Perform dialysis procedures, including Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), and Apheresis.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams in ICU, CCU, ED, and other inpatient settings.
• Manage a group of patients with support of PCTs for patient observations, measuring stats, and machine setup.
• Provide care during scheduled and on‑call shifts; schedules may vary by hospital system.
• Adhere to Joint Commission accreditation standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Train in facility or external training facility; may float to other facilities during and after training.
• Maintain flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN);
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; three‑year accredited diploma program accepted.
• Hemodialysis experience required.
• Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg settings.
• Successful completion of pre‑employment color blind test; accommodation may be provided.
• Ability to provide dialysis in a hospital setting.
