Registered Nurse

• Assist physicians in the care and teaching of patients
• Travel to clinics in Lake City, Gainesville, Palatka, and Fleming Island
• Assess patient needs and condition
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Support world-class community cancer care at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute

• Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Residence
• Experience in IV therapy
• Ability to assess patient needs and condition
• Strong critical thinking skills
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
• Fluency in English
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel to clinics
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital preferred but not required
• Must pass background, drug, and nicotine screenings
• New hires must receive required vaccinations, including influenza, barring an approved exemption
• Must be willing to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no nights or weekends
