ER Registered Nurse
Provides high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Deliver exceptional patient care with respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and vital signs
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Develop and modify patient care plans based on response and physician guidance
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes
Interpret diagnostic tests and assess patient conditions
Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care
Ensure proper use and maintenance of medical equipment
Delegate and supervise support staff as appropriate
Assist with exams, procedures, admissions, and discharge planning
Promote infection control and patient safety standards
Support training and development of staff and students when needed
Minimum 1 year of acute care ER experience required
Active Florida RN license or compact license (Florida license required within 60 days of relocation)
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire
PALS certification required within 30 days of hire
Associate Degree in Nursing required
Nights (rotating weekends)
Evenings (rotating weekends)
Acute care hospital
99-bed facility
24-hour emergency department
Includes ICU and cardiac catheterization lab
