Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to de-escalate concerns involving patients, visitors, and staff.;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while observing and reporting unusual activity.;
Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site-specific procedures and healthcare location protocols.;
Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency responders as needed.
