On behalf of a fast‑growing fintech company specializing in digital consumer lending, we are looking for an:
Outbound Sales Team Leader
The selected candidate will lead the daily operations of our Italian telesales team, with a strong focus on personal loan products. This role is responsible for driving sales performance, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring outstanding customer experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily outbound telesales team, ensuring efficient operations, resource planning, and target achievement
Train, coach, and develop agents on sales techniques, product knowledge, objection handling, and customer communication
Set, monitor, and drive sales performance providing regular feedback and performance reviews
Optimize lead management, CRM accuracy, and adherence to sales processes and follow-up standards
Support the team in complex negotiations, escalations, and high‑value customer interactions
Identify sales funnel improvements, customer trends, and opportunities to increase conversion rates and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with Italian telesales regulations, company policies, and data protection requirements
Support the implementation of commercial initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of sales operations
Requirements
5+ years of experience managing outbound telesales teams, ideally in international or cross‑border environments
Solid knowledge of outbound sales operations, lead management, and performance monitoring
Experience in personal loans, consumer credit, or financial services, with a good understanding of products, regulations, and customer journeys
Knowledge of Italian regulations governing telesales and consumer credit, including GDPR and relevant industry requirements
Advanced Excel skills and hands‑on experience with CRM and call centre platforms
Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Analytical and problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills
Studies
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Languages
Professional proficiency in English
Compensation
€ 40.000 - € 60.000
