• Develop and implement lesson plans fulfilling district curriculum, with written evidence of preparation.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies, materials, and technology, reflecting students' learning styles and needs.
• Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.
• Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula for special education students per IEP guidelines.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Teaching certificate:
  Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction, ability to instruct students and manage their behavior, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience:
  
  One year student teaching or approved internship.

• At least 1 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
• Undergraduate Certificate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
