Job Title

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to work well with children

Ability to work well under direction of classroom teacher

Ability to communicate effectively

Some experience working with children

Positive attitude and willingness to work in a teach atmosphere

Major

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist teacher in preparing and delivering instructional materials to students

Co-teach in both cooperative and small group settings

Help maintain neat and orderly classroom

Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of equipment

Help teacher keep administrative records & prepare required reports

Supervises children on the playground, at lunch, during study time, and in other assigned areas

Assists with loading and unloading of buses at the bus ramp and/or other areas where students enter/exit the school campus

Participates in required training programs

Assists with the supervision of students during field trips, as assigned by the Principal and/or Designee

Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor or designee

Salary:

Commensurate with experience
