Job Title

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to work well with children

Ability to work well under direction of classroom teacher

Ability to communication effectively

Some experience working with children

Positive attitude and willingness to work in a teaching atmosphere

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist teacher in preparing and delivering instructional materials to students.

Co-teach in both cooperative and small group settings.

Help maintain neat and orderly classroom.

Help with inventory, care and maintenance of equipment.

Help teacher keep administrative records & prepare required reports.

Supervise children on the playground, at lunch, during study time, and in other assigned areas.

Assist with loading and unloading of buses at the bus ramp and/or other areas where students enter/exit the school campus.

Participate in required training programs.

Assist with the supervision of students during field trips, as assigned by the Principal and/or Designee.

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or designee.
