Assist other health care members in providing patient specific education regarding adequacy measures and disease process/access;
Welcome assigned patients and monitor wellbeing during and after treatment;
Evaluate vascular access for patency and cannulation, administer heparin as delegated;
Initiate dialysis treatment including QB and QD, monitor intradialytic problems and intervene as directed;
Record and document vital signs, treatment parameters, and ensure accurate documentation on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet
