Overview

Position summary:

responsibilities include supervising and developing associates, implementing area plans, monitoring productivity, maintaining quality and safety standards, and aligning with Walmart policies and values.

Responsibilities
  • Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates).
  • Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals and managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety).
  • Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitor compliance and maintain procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others to determine corrective actions or recommendations.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and supporting training and development needs; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching, and evaluation.
  • Foster an inclusive culture: build high-performing teams, embrace differences, create a workplace where associates feel seen, supported, and connected, and provide opportunities for all to thrive and perform.
  • Act with integrity: maintain high standards of ethics and compliance, model Walmart values, hold oneself and others accountable, and support regenerative company goals by positively impacting associates, customers, members, and the community.
  • Serve our customers and members by delivering results while putting the customer first, applying EDLP and EDLC business models to plans, and making data-informed decisions that balance short- and long-term priorities.

Benefits and Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 – $98,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and other position-specific incentives.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    :
    Associates' Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year of supervisory experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field, or 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience, or 2 years Walmart Logistics experience, or 2 years supervisory experience.
  • Associates must successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
