Deli Manager

Kim's Convenience Stores Inc is seeking a hands-on Deli Manager to lead daily deli operations in our busy convenience store environment. In this role, you'll oversee food preparation, quality, and safety; manage inventory and merchandising; and lead a small team to deliver friendly, efficient service. You'll coordinate closely with the Restaurant General Manager to hit sales and margin goals while maintaining clean, well-stocked cases and a welcoming deli area.

Ideal candidates have deli or food service leadership experience, strong customer focus, and a commitment to integrity and teamwork in a family-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations within the convenience store, ensuring fresh, high-quality food offerings.
• Prepare, portion, and present deli items following food safety and sanitation standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule deli staff to deliver friendly, efficient customer service.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and waste control to meet sales and margin targets.
• Maintain a clean, organized deli area that meets company and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with the store and restaurant general manager on promotions and sales goals.
• Monitor product quality, rotation, and labeling for accuracy and compliance.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues to support a positive store experience.
