Job Description:
This position is responsible for administering contract closeouts, supporting SAM.gov updates, handling contract novations, and updating the representations and certifications for the segment.
- Work with customers, management, and program teams to resolve issues, secure approvals, analyze the ERP system against customer records, and ensure successful contract closeout
- Serve as the point of contact for the customer during contract closeout of programs
- Coordinate with the program team on SAM.gov updates
- Act as the multi-system supplier account owner/organization administrator
- Assist with contract novations
- Handle representations and certifications for proposals and annual supplier requirements for the program team and customer
- Maintain contract and representation and certification documentation
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives
- Ability to obtain US Government security clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related contracts experience; or, Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related contracts experience; or, in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related contracts experience
- In‑depth knowledge and experience with FAR and DFARS and functional knowledge of SAP and/or Peoplesoft input and report generation
- Experience with the administration and closeout of DoW contracts
- Assist with contract closeouts in compliance with company policies and government regulations
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues, leadership, and customers
- Experience supporting responses to requests for closeouts and assisting with contract documentation
- Experience working with various computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn and apply FAR/DFARS contract requirements under supervision
