Residential Front End Construction Manager Location Palm Bay, FL Job Code 26-061 # of openings 1
The Front-End Construction Manager supports the organization’s mission to provide superior quality, lasting value, and outstanding customer service through the day-to-day workflow processes that affect Holiday Builders. The Front-End Construction Manager will be responsible for the front-end construction duties that involve the oversight of successful and timely construction of individual single-family homes for the home purchaser.
They will also be responsible for duties associated with site inspections, evaluations, and lot closings. Homes may be under construction within a subdivision or scattered lot.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee all the “front end” construction of single-family homes in Port St. Lucie scattered lot community. This includes all stages from clearing and preparation of jobsite through ordering and delivering of roof trusses and frame packages.Ensure the “front end construction” is constructed, inspected, and completed within company specifications and required time frames through tie-beam pour.Develop and promote long-term positive relationships with internal and external customers, trade partners and industry associates.Maintain schedules to ensure site inspections, evaluations and lot closings are done per schedule.- Complete all site elevations on approved form and send to lot coordinator the same day as the evaluations.
- Respond to all requests from sales personnel for site evaluations within 24 hours of the request.
- Check in weekly with all NHC’s to check on lot evaluation questions.
Performs other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience
Required:
BS Degree in Construction Management or related field of study or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years directly related experience
Skills/Abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including scheduling and database programs.
Homebuilding software experience preferred.
Requires ability to:
work in a fast-paced environment.provide exceptional customer service.gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems, prioritize work, and meet required deadlines.interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and general public, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.maintain attention to detail and follow through.make decisions and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.negotiate schedules with trade partners and subcontractors as required.Physical Demands
Able to lift, push or move 10 to 25 pounds without assistance.Requires the ability to climb, stoop, kneel or crouch to gain access for home inspections.#J-18808-Ljbffr
