This is not a teaching position. It is a motivation role focused on sustaining rigorous standards for K‑8 students using AI‑driven academic delivery. Approximately 60% of your time is dedicated to facilitating one‑hour workshops on life skills such as public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback. About 30% involves individual and small‑group sessions where you analyze student progress through Coachbot analytics and drive each student toward weekly application goals.
The remaining 10% is devoted to data analysis that informs next‑week coaching strategies.
- Facilitate one‑hour life‑skills workshops for K‑8 cohorts, customizing frameworks and creating new sessions as needed.
- Conduct daily individual and small‑group motivation sessions, driving students toward weekly application targets using Coachbot analytics, Alpha’s reward structures, and individual relationships.
- Deliver the Test2
Pass competency‑based evaluation for each life skill and continue coaching students until mastery is achieved. - Adjust coaching approach across a wide age range, from energetic kindergarteners to accountable eighth‑graders.
- Analyze weekly cohort performance metrics, identify students falling behind, and modify coaching methods for the following week based on data insights.
- Teaching from a whiteboard; academic instruction is delivered by AI applications.
- Creating a complete curriculum from scratch; you begin with an established framework and personalize it.
- Passively monitoring students at workstations; your motivation is proactive and individualized.
- Working through bureaucratic processes for resources; you decide and implement additional coaching time immediately.
- Assessing homework, preparing for standardized tests, or handling parent correspondence; these responsibilities belong to Campus Leads.
- Work on‑site at an Alpha campus in designated locations (relocation assistance provided).
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience with K‑8 students (teaching, coaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or youth program management).
- Concrete example of motivating a K‑8 student toward a challenging goal, including objective, actions, and results.
- Comfort with AI managing instructional delivery while you focus on motivation and life‑skills development.
- Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
- Background in youth sports coaching, debate, camp direction, theater, or after‑school programming with direct responsibility for motivating children toward defined outcomes.
- Demonstrated personal achievement that reflects consistent commitment to high standards, not merely a stance.
- Narrative ability and stage command sufficient to engage a room of 12‑year‑olds for an hour without raising your voice.
- Proven ability to convert disengaged or reluctant students into engaged contributors.
The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) and long‑term. It requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level is $60 USD per hour, which equates to $120,000 USD per year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. Payment is made weekly.
