Job OverviewWe are hiring for our high school math department. These paid roles are for the academic year and are ideal for passionate educators who enjoy fostering a love of learning in students within a supportive, classical environment. Candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to a curriculum that emphasizes character, critical thinking, and academic rigor across various grade levels.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the classical curriculum, focusing on core subjects such as literature, history, mathematics, and language arts.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect.
- Support student development by providing personalized attention and mentoring to meet high educational standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices.
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth.
- Maintain classroom organization and ensure adherence to school policies and safety protocols.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
- Prior experience teaching at the university level or in a classroom setting is preferred.
- A strong understanding of classical education principles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with diverse student populations.
