Position Overview
An established organization is seeking a skilled CAD Drafter with 3–5 years of professional experience to support the development of construction documentation. This position is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to collaborate within a team-oriented technical environment. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, technically strong, and experienced in preparing accurate drawings for architectural and/or engineering projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare, modify, and maintain detailed technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD required)
Assist in the production of construction documents for design and engineering projects
Interpret sketches, redlines, specifications, and markups to generate precise drawings
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and internal project team members to ensure accuracy and alignment
Ensure all drawings adhere to applicable codes, standards, and internal quality procedures
Incorporate revisions and updates efficiently throughout various project phases
Maintain organized digital files and documentation systems
Qualifications3+ years of professional CAD drafting experience, preferably within architectural or engineering environments
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Solid understanding of construction documentation and detailing practices
Ability to interpret technical plans and specifications accurately
High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team setting
Preferred BackgroundAssociate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline
Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes
$40,000 - $57,000 a year
